In recent times, the customer has seen exponential growth and has expanded their office capacity to accommodate a growing workforce.
The requirements
The existing site consisted of two industrial units, which houses manufacturing, warehousing and administrative functions. Recently, they had acquired a third unit, which was stripped back to its metal frame, rebuilt and refurbished specifically for their needs. This meant designing and building a heating and cooling solution to their specific requirements in order to provide excellent comfort levels for all of the staff and management alike.
Having been a Tidyco customer since 2017, they knew that they were choosing a reliable supplier, who focusses on elite customer services and top-quality products and services.
The solution
With the help of Tidyco Climate Director, David Hithersay, two highly-experienced Tidyco engineers and MasterMover Safety, Quality and Facilities Manager, Chris Simpkins – Tidyco provided a highly efficient system that had centralised controls and enhanced comfort levels.
For this project, Tidyco selected a Samsung DVMS heat recovery heat pump air conditioning system for the two-storey office facility along with 20 indoor wind free cassettes and wall mounted units, linked to only two outdoor remote condensers.
To further enhance the service offering, two Samsung ERV heat recovery ventilation systems were also installed and in order to enhance efficiency and to add to the user experience the whole system is controlled via the Samsung LCD touch screen centralised control panel.
One problem, which the team encountered during the installation was a limited ceiling and wall voids, in which to route ducting and equipment, however with innovative thinking and careful design, everything was fitted seamlessly and tidily.
Overall, the customer was extremely pleased with the outcome and installation process.
